Representatives

Graduate and professional students of TAMU are represented on the Graduate Student Council by up to three (3) representatives from each graduate degree program/organization at Texas A&M and the Executive Committee. One representative (primary) is considered the departmental delegate, which has voting privileges for the department. The other two are considered alternate representatives and assist the primary representative in sharing and discussing issues for their department.


Responsibilities of Delagates:

  1. Attend General Assembly meeting. Meetings are held every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 5:15pm in Koldus 144.
  2. Serve on at least one Internal or External Committee and submit a report each Fall and Spring Semester. 
  3. Share their constituents issues with the Council and work to find soultions to these problems.
  4. Take information learnt at the GSC meetings or on committees to their constituents.
