External Committees offer two types of positions for graduate student participation: Committee Delegates and Committee Alternates. Committee Delegates are required to attend all committee meetings and meet all committee obligations. Committee Alternates are contacted if delegates are not available.
Committee Delegates work together with Alternates to ensure that there is always representation at committee meetings, and to produce a semester report on the committee.
